The technology and quality of virtual tours has improved significantly in recent years. The 3D tours from Matterport in California are particularly impressive due to their high image quality. Furthermore, despite the high resolution, the tours make it possible to walk through the tour smoothly.
This is primarily made possible by the special Matterport camera, which not only takes 360-degree photos, but also scans the room with lasers and creates a 3D model, which is used as the basis for the tour.
The result is a virtual experience that is second to none. In the following I have scanned the Clubtheater at Potsdamer Platz in Berlin. Since the beginning of the year, the newly renovated location has been home to the show Magic Mike shown.
